Nope. ...not yet, anyway. I think one major problem with that is you lose the cross-linking when you do that. The air suspension is pretty awesome as part of the indi suspension, when it works.

I carry extra sensors with me when I'm off-road. I may pick up an extra brake switch too, but I think in most cases the suspension fault related to the brake switch is re-settable on a power cycle. ...but it's a $15 part so I might pick one up.

I believe I have two rear sensors and one front sensor plus all stock rods when I'm off-roading.

Churious:

Installing the Johnson Rods will not fix the computer fault. It is possible under certain fault situations that the rods will trigger the sensor to raise the vehicle and thereby enable you to continue until the problem can be fixed. It just depends on the fault situation if the rods will help or not.

I do recommend the Johnson Rods to be part of every off road kit. If you don't use them full time you may encounter a situation on the trail where putting them on can give you the needed lift to prevent damage. It only takes ten minutes to change out the rods on the trail.

Yes, you could make a set yourself if you are mechanically inclined and want to bother with getting the parts and spending the time with an unknown result. For $125 however I think your time alone is more valuable and the effort is not worth it.

I will send you a set to help you out.

Best Regards
Greg

I would agree that $125 is dirt cheap. Churious, yes, the height sensors. ...and yes, I just got 'em at the dealership.

Have you been in a situation on trail to change a sensor? If so how difficult is it?

I would like to see a thread on what parts, equipment and tools do LR3 owners think are the most important to have with them for off road trail fixes and repairs.

Should be an interesting list and worth discussion.

Are you friggin' kidding me Greg?!?!?!? You sell the rods and have no idea about the entire system? It makes me sick that you're in the biz. You've not advanced the technology one bit with your product. All you've done is repackaged other people's efforts. Steal Toddco's stainless hoops. Steal Sasquatch's grommets. Promote like hell. That's it. I didn't join a Club to get street cred like you did either. I regret getting into this market because it turns my stomach to see people like you who are in this ONLY for the money. Gloves are off Greg. I'm no cyber bully by any means. Ask around. Heck, I even promote other lift systems out there. It's just painfully clear that off roading is NOT your passion. Being a mechanic or mechanical aptitude is a huge gap as well. You don't even make the rods yourself. Farmed out. Pfffttt. Tired of your kind effing up the aftermarket. Bet you thought of Truck Nutz. Here you go - a free one...start selling Truck ********'s. Click here - buy it now. Rrrrrrrrr.

Wow Blackforest,(Dave). I know you are aka Sasquatch and sell the adjustable rods, but that's over the top. You don't need to talk trash to sell your product. I refer people to your Sasquatch rods and the toddco rods if they want an adjustable product. My Johnson Rods are a quality affordable lift at $125 that Land Rover owners like to use. A good deal and there is nothing wrong with that. Keep it professional.
