How to know what exactly is covered under extended warranty ?

I purchased a 2013 LR4 with the manufacturer extended warranty. Took it in for service yesterday and the dealer said it needs a Power Steering Pressure Hose ($595) and also said its not covered under the extended warranty.

It states the following is covered:

Steering Failure of the following parts only: Steering box, power steering rack, high pressure pipes/hoses, power steering pump.

Is my dealer trying to pull a fast one ?

Call your warranty company directly and ask if the dealer submitted a warranty request for coverage. Little frustrating I know but every time anything goes wrong it's $500 minimum lol...

That link is not a US policy, it is possible the NA LR policy is written slightly different. If you purchased the warranty, you should have a copy that was given to you. Do you see the same language in it?

Did you purchase the vehicle and warranty from this same dealer?
