Anyone ever press one of these out? My press is only a 12 ton.
I put a chassis ear transmitter on the rear bushing and another on the lower ball-joint. It is the ball joint that is knocking. At 55k now of course I want to replace both bushings while doing the ball-joint. That ball-joint looks mighty stout. Just wondering if anyone here has done one. If I could do it I could save $150.

Man, my lower control arm bushings went out with not much more miles than you have. I'd be tempted to just replace the whole dang things.

Yes, I know. The only question is if I will replace components, saving $140, or buy the whole new CA. I know my press will do the bushings, just not sure about balljoint.

I was gonna do this initially at 80k but when i took the arms out, they were rusted to **** so I just decided to replace the whole damn things. IMO, it's not worth pressing out the ball-joints themselves.

Atlantic British has a video on how to do the bushing replacement without using a press. I am not sure if they replaced the ball joint. You might take a look at the video.

Very interesting! Is there a U.S. distributor for these?

No. Advanced Factors ships worldwide. Still cheaper than oem with better quality. If you order the kit it comes with all necessary bolts and fittings. My dealer commented on the quality.
