I've seen a lot of posts about the fading plastic trim and several different products to keep it black. Anywho, has anyone actually had the black pieces on the fenders and bumper painted at a shop? If you did what did it cost you and how do you feel about the results? thanks! :hello:

I just bought some VinylX by Lexol to try on the black trim pieces of our new to us 08.

I dont have any long term news to report, but this product does have a UV Protectant in it that should help prevent some fading. At least I hope...

Might be worth looking into if the trim isnt to faded yet.

thanks for the info, but I'm actually more set on getting them painted. Just curious how the results turned out and what one could expect to pay.
