key won't come out
Is the key turnig all the way off? if not the problem may be in the gearshift. If the park light on the floor selector is not lit up the key will not turn all the way off. The car will shut off but the key will not come out. The problem may be with the switch in the console. Mine is a little... -

Sorry, I should have been more speciffic. A used pump from a reliable person recommended by someone here. I flushed the sytem with several quarts of ATF and refilled with ATF and lucas. -

Joey is absolutey right, however in my case it was a little more complicated than that. You probably have a small leak some where in the cooling system, so when the system is cooling off after you dirve it is sucking in air through the leak. This air alway s seems to get traped in the heater... -

Perhaps you could offer some technical advice on how exactly to fix the real problem rather than criticism for our obvious ignorance. A well written technical article on the replacement of panhard bushings and swivel preload would surely help everyone. -

That is probably the case. However, my two year old could easily compress and extract the ram. So, I'm pretty sure that was at least part of the problem. Thanks -

More power steering
Thanks Joey, Thats what I figured I just needed someone to agree with me. I don't suppose there is a screen or a filter anywhere in the system that could get plugged with nasties after a pump failure? I'll give it another drain this weekend. Thanks again.
