LR4 New Light Bar Installed
sorry to try to revive this old thread, but I'm looking to add a light bar for your same reason. I live in Montana and high beams just don't cut it! lol. Where did you mount the bar? I see you wired it to the high beams, do you have a separate switch to turn it off when you don't want to use... -

brake pad sensor light
Ok. Thank you. I'll just buy new sensors then. I watched a video where a guy stuck a paper clip in the wire from the car to kind of short it out. I'm afraid to do that! lol. I'd be worried that I'd damage the wire, in the car, permanently! -

Snow chains recommendations
How easy do these chains go on? I'm running the Nokian Haka's for snow tires, but I'll likely need chains to get up and down my driveway, when the occasion calls. I'm in the upper northwest corner of Montana with a steep and shade covered driveway. -

brake pad sensor light
I recently replaced the brakes, front and rear, along with the pad sensors. Now I'm getting the brake pad worn light. Is there an easy reset or do I need to buy new sensors again? I bought a kit from FPC. (2013 lr4). Also, can anyone recommend a good mechanic in the northwest Montana area... -

Looking for a 19" off road tire.
Thanks! I think I'm sold on these tires for next season and at the 255/60 size. My mechanic suggested this tire, too. Said they've had a good experience with them on other vehicles. I just know these LR's can be picky with tires. lol -

Those of y'all running the Toyo AT3's, how are they now after having them for a bit? My Zeon's need replaced and I'm considering the AT3. We are currently in the Colorado mountains, so sharp rocky roads, slimy sticky mud, for off roading and snow (even though I use Nokian r3's for winter)... -

Wheel speed sensors
Just got both sensors replaced and took a couple of long test drives, everything seems back to normal! When I got the front fender flare off, I'm not surprised the sensors went out. There was a good amount of dried mud everywhere and that was after a few good washings! Most of my driving is on... -

Defender 130 an LR4 replacement?
I think I'll stick with my '13 LR4 for as long as I can afford it. lol To me, the new Defenders look like an overgrown Jeep Renegade. I'm sure they are really nice and handle well and maybe the touchscreen is much more user friendly, but I do chuckle a bit every time I see one driving around... -

Nokian Hakka's R3. They are absolutely amazing. I've been in some pretty hairy snow storms up here in the Colorado mountains and extremely happy I had those tires on. Sadly, I haven't gotten to use snow mode hardly at all this winter. We just haven't had much snow up here in Steamboat... -

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll do that next time and keep it on the same thread. I cleaned out where I could reach with a rag and some water. I also took it to a manual car wash to clean off the frozen mud that caked up behind the wheels. There was a LOT of mud up there. If these things... -

Both sensors are coming up on the computer, so I'm just going to replace both. The tech did say that it was weird too, but since I'll already be down there, may as well do both. But I figured, because of all the mud, snow, and ice I have to drive through, maybe they both really did go out? -
