Suddenly the check engine light comes on - 2007 LR3. Scan gives code for catalytic convertor replacement. Anyone have any recommendations or experience with this issue? Could it be another, less expensive issue? Thanks.

How many miles? What was the specific code?
Before throwing thousands at it, it might be worth replacing the O2 sensors depending on the code. They're only a couple hundred bucks.
