Yeah, the Trialmaster comes with front and rear lockers. A snorkel, too. Lol.

The B58 engine in this makes enough power for me. Same engine used in a lot of BMWs as well as the new Toyota Supra. I read about the engine before I took the plunge. Purportedly, it's one of the few "reliable" engines that BMW mades now. The one in the Grenadier is actually downtuned a little, supposedly for even greater reliability. Given it's forced induction, it did pretty well at altitude.

For a Grenadier compromising on some power is worth it, I like everything about it. Especially the tech-less features. I use a 4" air mattress in back of my LR4 and realistically the Grenadier looks like it is the only option on the market that is better than the LR4. Is there enough room in back to sleep in the Grenadier? The Bronco looks cool on the outside (especially retro orange and white colors) but its not great on the inside. There are some upcoming body-on-frame 4X4's like the XTerra. Can't wait to see what Nissan has to offer.

The interior is shorter in the back than the LR4. Not sure how much. Folding the second row does not create a fully flat surface, either.

That said, if you move the front seats all the way forward and build a little platform, you can supposedly get 6' 6" of interior length.

I prefer to go drawer and platform-less as the Grenadier allows me to store mountain bikes upright using a fork mount on some L track that I installed.
