Yeah, these engines have very complex coolant circuits. All possible leaking spots that come to mind: -Front and rear crossover pipes (sure you replaced those already) -Water pump housing to engine block (bolts get corroded very easily here, need to tap the holes again when replacing these...- LandRobert

Coolant Crossover Pipe Repair 5.0 V8
...disconnected. I would check battery voltage with dvm. if 12.5 or so or better then check the main ground line to the block. It is known to corrode and if you spilled coolant on it that could be the issue. remove the securing bolt and clean the ring terminal and clean the mounting area as well. -
Broken coolant return nipple and fix

Loosing a little bit of coolant
I mixed the Land Rover coolant with Dexcool and it seemed fine. Is there any damage that occurs from doing that? I actually liked it better with Dexcool because it has a stronger pink color that contrasted well with the reservoir and it was quicker to spot the fluid level.- powershift

hard to say from the picture but i normally don’t take chances with coolant, brake or fuel lines. if it’s suspicious, replace it. -

I smelt burning coolant in my LR4 while offroading the other day, but the level was the same the next day. Historically, I've been finding my leaks by looking for wet areas and tracing back to the source. A black light would be sweet.- powershift

When did your crossover go and is your climate HOT (CA, NM, AZ, TX, LA, etc) or COOL (PNW, northeast, etc)
I think the drier climates have an affect -

Cylinder 5 Misfire
...a bunch of grime at the top of the cylinder which may look like pitting in my terrible video. I'll go in for another look. I doubt that's coolant, I believe it's leftover oil from the wet compression test- I'm positive I squirted too much in there, and I got a lot of smoke out the exhaust... -
Low coolant warning
2011 V8 5.0L HSE Lux. Start the truck and low coolant warning light was on. Then I opened the hood to check (actually I’ve seen nothing wrong with fluid level by my eyes) and closed the hood. Got back and the light was gone.... I’m very confused...any advices? TIA- tonyrover90

Rough 5-4 change ZF6
...anything to drive it higher in the RPM range, its better for it, that is where the power is and it will be easier on your transmission and coolant system. All that shifting generates heat just to keep it in a higher gear momentarily. On the grades I know about its easier, but if you can see...- powershift

LR4 Head Gasket
...on never letting these things overheat. I will be installing separate temp gauges on my A-pillars to keep an eye on things. I am also planning on swapping out the fan for an electric fan setup and adding a second low coolant light. Is there anything else I might be missing? How is yours...
