    I'll try...

Lol Well a lot has changed since I first posted here. Since then I have been a part of the founding of the Northern California Land Rover Club (www.NCLRClub.org), have been on several trips (Pismo, Oregon Discovery trail, Mojave desert, Bishop, Anza Borrega and others!), and add several mods to...

    Brush Gaurds

Considering the incremental cost over the LR guards and the better protection - the ARB is well worth it - plus it looks damn sexy!

    I'll try...

I would travel across the Bay to Redwood City and see Tony and Frank at Ceronne's European. They are mostly Land Rover and really know their stuff. Here is a link to their site with address: http://www.lrrforums.com/store/index.php Also we have recently started a Nor Cal Land Rover...

    Cruise Control Not Available

Wierd - I THOUGH I posted a reply the other day (maybe another forum?) I too had this issue. The clock spring needs to be replaced on your cruise control switch on the steering wheel. I believe there is a TSB on the issue. When the dealer replace mine, it worked like a charm.

    Cruise Control Not Available

I had this problem as well there is a service bulletin (TSB) on it - the dealer needs to replace the clockspring in the Cruise Control switch on the steering wheel. It is a warranty issue.

I added a Garmin 2730 GPS / XM radio to mine - under $600 (If you shop around) I wired it into the AUX jack so it sounds great. Info and photos are here: http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/showthread.php?t=4688

Wanted to revived this thread, as I am planning a couple of desert trips in the near future. Should I look at a K&N as a replacement / spare, or some other filter? Thanks, David

    LR Accessories DIY installation

The hitch wiring takes about :30-1:00. Not a big deal. The dealer wants a ransom for it. One hint - the last step is to plus the wiring harness into an exsisting plug in the left rear storage area. You need to remove a cover on the plug before the harness will connect. It took me :15 of cursing...

    Latch in 2006 LR3 HSE

The seatbelts in the rear also have a safety feature for child seats - I use it in the center instrad of latch. After tighting seatbelt, pull all the slack from the reel. Then let it back and it will ratch back and remove all the pull from the reel.

    Problems With the LR3

The threshold is 40 degrees F. When the temp hits that it dings and then the snowflake appears - I have seen it a lot in the morning here in Northern California this winter!

    Joshua Tree images

I tied to send a PM - but your mailbox is full :) I like Banana Albun a lot. It is easy to use and affords some protection as the images can not be directly downloaded. You basiclly just put the images in the directory structure you want and then create the album. -d

I was there over Thankgiving and it is a blast. We did not see anyone else on the Old Dale trail - a bit spooky as we were alone. A few images from that trip can be found here: www.bregmanphotos.com/Josha_Tree
