06 SE HK Premium SOund Subwoofer Question

I have an 06 SE V8 and the HK radio settings include one for subwoofer, however, doesn't seem to make a lick of difference when I adjust it. Anyone know if there is a sub in my config.......I can always break out the tools.....sigh

I think Grommet's suggestion to place something with a good amount of bass in it and put your hand in front of the spot on the tailgate is the best idea to make sure it is working correctly.

Just tried the Grommet method, nothing but the sound of a pin dropping back there. I MUST know if it is just not working or not even there. Tool time!
