Hello from So Cal! It's been a hard decision but I am selling my 1994 Range Rover County LWB (Long Wheel Base). Lord Brian is his name and he's my second car. I just can't afford to have 2 at the moment :( I got him about a year ago up in Santa Cruz and he's been great to me the entire time and has been taken on some legendary trips. I've never had any breakdowns and he runs and drives great. Good condition with the quirks you can attribute to a 15 year old British car. The LWB is amazing on road trips to the desert or mountains - she just cruises at 80 no problem, and the seats are like flying first-class. This is a California car!

The air suspension has been converted to coil springs. Engine runs strong (new spark plugs/ belts/ hoses, passed smog fine), transmission shifts well (I use overdrive only above 55mph otherwise it shifts back and forth between 3rd/ 4th gears). Power windows work (one of the rear windows is a bit quirky, but it goes up and down); Moonroof works great. Rear hatch is rust free but the hydraulics could use replacement. Leather captain's seats (all 4) are in great condition (some wear on driver's armrest only). Headliner is sagging, a common issue in Rovers as you all know. The A/C worked perfectly last summer, but now is not. I suspect it just needs a recharge. CD changer works, but some of the speakers could use replacement. The car actually has a salvage title but it's clearly never been wrecked - everything is clean, straight. The guy I bought it from said that it had been in a fender bender and they salvaged it because it was an older car. The paint is the original factory Plymouth Blue -- the paint on the roof and hood is fading a bit, but the sides are perfect. The car has 165K miles and the odometer works perfectly - an average of 11K per year.

I got him for $3000 and put over $1000 worth of work into him, so hence the $4000 asking price. As luck would have it I just took him on a long desert trip, no problems, and yesterday on the freeway it seemed like the engine was ever so infrequently losing power for a brief second. I suspect a fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself, so if I figure out what the issue is, I will of course lower the price accordingly! Definitely want a fair deal for everyone.

Thanks guys, and spread the word! Please call or e-mail me if you are interested.

Hey everyone-
Haven't gotten too good of a response at this price, so I'm lowering the asking price to $3500, and will consider any fair offer. Also, the car is back to driving totally fine on the freeway - go figure. Had my mechanic check it and he said he doesn't think it's the fuel pump, said it drove totally fine. Someone else suggested it might be speed sensor/ transducer.

Private message me if you are interested!
Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric,

Would you consider trading this car in with a 2000 Infiniti I30?
