2001 Disco changing from 16" to 18" rims ????

On a 2001 Disco that came with the 16" rims can I swap for the 2002/2003 Disco's 18" rims , or Im going to need different gear ratio due to the larger diameter of the rim ???

I wouldn't think so, the stock tires on both rims are pretty much the same diameter. Unless you get a larger diamater tire on the 18s, shouldn't be much different, even than there's not much of a difference. I'm running larger tires on my 16 '01 DII and there's a marginal difference but not much to change gear ratio or anything, at least not for me. I can still out run some sports cars if need be lol

Thanks ..yeah Im looking to swap stock for stock rim and tire , but I don't want to mess with gears or feel slow like Im dragging a trailer .

Than you should be good, and not feel any slower when driving.
