My wife was driving her 2018 RR HSE and the coolant light came on. She stopped at an Auto Zone within a couple minutes and had the person there add coolant and said it was low. The light went out and she drove for about 10 minutes, and the engine died.. no warning light, no stopping before it overheated... dealer said the engine is blown with no compression and she will need a new engine. Has any one experienced similar and a failure of the warning lights to come on. New engine 30K, one used with 93K miles and they want 20K.

You have to remember that the temp sensors does not measure "air."
Hence, no warning. 10min is a long time with no coolant.
