hi guys! I`ve got a question for you. I seem to have a problem with a 95 dicovery that I can`t fins a solution to. this car overheats, I`ve changed the thermostat, had the radiator flushed, the engine has no water leaks, the thermoswitch is working perfectly, and th waterpump is intact. I don`t know what else to look for... hope you can help! thanx

How many miles/Kilometers on the vehicle.... When you say it is overheating, are you saying th gauges shows this or the vehicle gets so hot it blows out the fluid from the radiator?

Does it overheat when? Right after start up after driving for 10 - 50 - 100 miles?

Are you running the A/C when this happens?

Have you checked the fan clutch to see if it is bad?

the engine has 195,389Km and its a turbo Diesel engine. yes, the gauges show the engine over heating, but the radiator does not blow the fluid out. no, it doesn`t over heat right when you start it, i`ve had it runnin a full day and it doesn`t over heat, the temperature goes up only when I drive it for a couple of Km. It overheats with or without the A/C and yes, I did check the fanclutch and it is working perfectly.

In the diesel if it gets hot it can be either a flow (water pump) issue or fuel issues.... i.e. a lean type issue and getting hot.
