95 Disco Up & Down Power... no gas?

95 Disco with 110K... bought it with 70k did the valves and pretty good since... Just had engine light go off when doing about 60-70.. seems to throttle up and then down like it isn't getting enough gas... replace feul filter and a few vacuum lines with cracks and it check engine light went away and it was driving o.k. for 1 day... but it's back... my thoughts are as follows: fuel pump (though I thought they usually just die); read something about throttle body and/or mass air flow sensor(???)

Need a little help... thanks for the efforts... Al-x

Fuel pumps sometimes just go out. Mine in my 97 Disco took about 6 months to go. If it is your mass air flow sensor it will through a code have you had it scanned?

If it feels like the engine is cutting out, sounds like the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) to me.
