I Have A 1997 Range Rover 4.6 Hse. Engine Will Turn Over And Fire Off, But Will Not Run. Not Sure If It Matters Or Not, But It Sat For 9 Months Being Ran Every One In A While With No Gas Cap. Ran Great For About A Year Before The Deployment. Had Head Gasket Job Done When Car Was Purchased. Spark Plugs And New Wires Done About A Year And A Half Ago. Always Used Premium Gas, Though Always Had Very Low Amount In Tank. Ran Fine When Returned From Deployment Last June For A Few Months, Eventually Would Take A While To Start, But Ran Fine Once Started And Would Start Up Fine While Engine Was Still Warm. Eventually Had To Use Starter Fluid To Get It Started, And Now Just Won't Start, Will Turn Over And Fire But Won't Run. Checked Fuel Rail Into Injectors And It Does Have Pressure. Any Suggestions Will Be Greatly Appreciated..................

Will it start with ether? If so, I would say fuel pump.

ahd same problem with my classic

which had sat for 3 years low fuel in tank......condensation dilutes the fuel but holds in a bubble at orifices spoiling delivery hence no start.

drain plug is in tank, dont smoke! - drop into a bucket if low enough and inspect for moisture

otherwise fuel pressure regulator but not sure on the 4.6 set up
