I am building a holder for iPhone/android phones and tablets and a electrical system to add to the radio and tv system. The idea is the phone/tablet will mount near the radio, possibly over it and can flip via a hinge away in case you need to change input or see 4x4, ect. I’ll be basing the prototype on an earlier gen iPad and iPhone X since it’s what I have.
Should be able to watch movies from it on rear displays too then and all wireless headphones.
if all goes well I’ll add wireless video to the rear headrests too. (I have 3 kids, only 2 TVs/headphones)
Vehicle: 2012 LR4 HSE LUX
Problem: no CarPlay/ video options
Solution: mount and electronics to integrate into “Video 2”
