So I mistakenly left my headlights on my 2011 Land Rover LR4 and my battery is slowly draining it's power and I can't unlock my vehicle to get in and shut the lights off. Is there any way to get in. Seems like this smart key such a disadvantage to this situation and it's the weekend where Roadside can't help me. What do I do?

The drivers door handle has a release from the bottom. Use your key to pry open the plastic cover then unlock.

It Worked! That's absolutely fantastic jjvd21 ...I was able to open my door. Thank you so much for the help. I know they don't recommend using booster cables to another vehicle but can I connect the 'Electric Charger' booster cables to the battery.

The manual should outline specific jumping procedure.
