Battery Light

Just purchased a 1995 Disco that has been well cared for. The one owner vehicle has every record of all the work done to it. The owner even kept the receipts for the Rover Christmas cards he bought. It has an oil leak that I have located, however, the battery light has come on. It has a new alternator and battery. Any suggestions? This is my first Rover.

Check grounds as well as the connections to the Alternator... one could be loose. Also just in case have them both check to make sure one did not go bad. It happens.
