I've got an 05 LR3, the battery is weak. Do I need to find a 95R? So far no love. I did find a few 94Rs that go to in the 07's but the CCAs are a little lower.
Group H8 (95R) would be the exact replacement for the LR3. H7-94R fits the RRS and may be OK, but the LR3's a little larger, in size and capacity. Interstate MTP-H8 is a good match, you can find it at most local Firestone dealers, if they don't have it they can order it and get it in a day or two.
Interstate has stores here, our company uses them for the truck fleet here in MI. If you're nearby, I can get you our discounted price, but I don't find that Interstate is necessarily the cheapest even compared to Autozone, etc., for car batteries.
Thanks guys, I ended up just going with the interstate. I had to order it, no one in town had anything even close. The best part was the place I ordered it from gave me a really good price. It was cheaper than most everything else I had seen. It also showed up by noon the next day.
Are you still under warranty? Mine was weak when I took it into service last week. They did a load test and found it faulty and then replaced it under warranty. I've read this elsewhere on this site, and the service guy said its a fairly common thing to happen. I'm not sure if it's just an 05 problem or not.
Metro Detroit - or what will be left of it, anyway. Except for when the school parking lot fills up, no offroading here!
Still can help if you ever need an Interstate price. Also, I buy direct from LR at the Manheim sales in Detroit for any intending LR/RR owners that you know.
