I am a Brit living in Romania and have 2 local Romanian friends with Discoveries.
- Bogdan has a 1991 200Tdi 4-door, with a rough engine he wants to replace.

Alin has lived several years in UK and is planning to pop back to buy another 200Tdi with good body AND good engine. The engine will go to Bogdan.
The question is, if Alin finds a good 200Tdi 3-door in UK, can he put the body shell onto his rusty 300Tdi 3-door? http://www.landroverworld.org/forums/images/smilies/alberteinstein.gif
Or is it easier if they get a replacement 300Tdi 3-door and engine swap the "new" 300Tdi into Bogdan's existing 200Tdi 1991 vehicle?
There are no LR parts dealers "down the road" in Romania for when the lads find they need odd bolts, gaskets and special parts for these swaps!
