Bonnet open?

I'm getting a bonnet open warning and the horn beep when I got to lock the LR3. I've open and closed the hood and all is well. Is there anyway to reset this code with out going to the dealer? Thanks.

In general, I tend to avoid force but I was getting ready to jump on the damn hood. At any rate, fixed it myself. Just a loose connection on the switch that is on the passenger side of the hood latch.

Hmmm, maybe I should look at that, too !! Are you saying there was a loose electrcial connection? What did the wire look like? Thanks.

If you look at the receiver (female) for the passenger side hood pin there will be a small
(20g) pair of wires to the bottom of it. It is either a contact or magnetic swtich. At any rate, in my case I just pulled, cleaned and refit the connection and it's fine now.
