I have a 97 Discovery 5 spd does not get driven on a daily basis brakes worked just fine until one weekend I got in to go for a trail ride and the break pedal felt fine when the car was not running but as soon as I started it the brake pedal went right to the floor and you have to pump the breaks to get them to work. The fluid level is fine check it before every drive and the level never goes down.

Is it the brake booster? Is this a common problem?

Thank you for your help

Scott

Sounds like a ABS issue.... you may have a bad ABS Sensor.
