2006 LR3, 115K+ miles. Warranty no more 
The plastic latch for the lid on the cooler/compartment between the front seats has broken. There is no replacement for just the latch, so I had to buy the whole door. I was going to replace it myself, got busy, asked the dealer instead. He advised that they shouldn't do the work because they have to tear appart the entire console just to replace the door!! Many labor hours!! He gave me back by brand new little door with a 'good luck' grin. I can't seem to find an easy way to do it myself. Suggestions?
