Going tomorrow to see if Discount Tires will price match! The price is too good to pass up and half the cost of the DuraTracs. Looking forward to testing these out in Steamboat Springs soon!!

For those who have bought them, do you know the manufacturers date on the tires? Would be a code with week number and year number. Sometimes overstock sales can be to get rid of old tires that were not moving.

Mine says Week 17, year 19. so four digits are 1719 and all four are the same.

Dang. That's like late April, early May. Tires were probably still warm when they shipped them out to you.

I might even be a little newer on a couple of mine. I've got two 18s and the rest are 17s.

I was also wondering about this but for a slightly different reason...as in how long could I reasonably store a set of new tires. I decided not to do it after all, but I did consider stockpiling a set of these.

Good reading on the link below, as there are many opinions on tire life. But looks like 6 years is a rule of thumb for many manufacturers. Nothing wrong with buying and using them in a couple of years, as long as you store them in the proper place with no sunlight and temp control. I have been to many tire warehouses with no temperature control, so buyer beware.

Ok. The guys at Discount Tires told me there is no mileage warranty on the Zeons and I’d probably get 20k before I had to replace. They suggested the Hankook Dynapro HP2 and would honor the same price. Any one have any experience with that tire or are they even right about the Zeon’s?
