Anyone know what size D ring will fit in the LR3 front and rear bumper? I was looking at a 3/4" 6.5 ton D ring.

Thanks

Yes that would work if I had the vehicle with me.

I was hoping someone knew this info.

3/4" D-shackles will fit just fine, I use those on my LR4. You may even get away with a 7/8 or 1" in front, although a 1" pin may be a bit too large to fit on the rear bumper's tow ring due to the limited clearance around it.

rfitterer, can you throw a link up to the one you end up buying? I need a 2nd one and haven't done the research to remember what I bought last time and where.

They aren't expensive so I should just but the thing already. (#lazy)

Thanks!

How do you know the rugged ridge d-ring is cheap chinese junk? They are sold from lots of retailers on the web and have good reviews. I am new to the 4x4 thing so would like some input here.

I do see by reading the specs for the Van Beest they meet US Fed. Spec. RR-C-271 Type IVA Class 2, Gr. A and list the material as Grade 6.

Is it because the rugged ridge did not list any specs like above?

I did find the Van Beest on Amazon.

I maybe able to return the Rugged Ridge and order the Van Beest
