I got into an accident recently and it was my word against the other driver and I was ultimately found liable. If I had a video recording of the incident, it would have been a different story.

Lucky8 now carries a dash cam that integrates into the OEM rear view mirror housing. It looks like the same camera from Fitcamx, which I found on Amazon. However, then on Amazon also has a rear camera option.

I am also interested in the Wolfbox G900Pro. Is anyone running this one? I like that it has the rear camera on the display, which replaces/covers the OEM rear view mirror.

Anyone out there using either of these dash cams?

I looked at the fitcamX and reviews are pretty mixed. Some reddit people did a teardown and concluded it's basically a cheap camera you can get from AliExpress inside a custom housing. No idea how true that is, but that's the info out there. From most of the comparison sites, it looks like a camera with the Starvis 2 sensor is the way to go...

I had thoughts of replacing the camera at the top-middle of the windshield. That is a great spot, its hidden already with a black border in the glass. I don't need it for anything unless its tied to cruise control.

I think that's the auto high beam cameras.

High beams and I think it houses the automatic wiper sensor.

I looked this morning and I've also got that sensor in the housing. That eliminates that option, too bad because it was super stealth.

Wolfbox anyone?

I run an ****** maxcam 360c which is escorts flagship 360° max series radar with an integrated 2k dash cam. The radar isn’t really necessary for the LR4 but it’s great for road trips and I use it across all the cars I drive. the 2 in 1 is super convenient but that comes with a steep $$$.

I have a Blackvue dual camera setup (Front and rear) and it's been great. Have had it for 5+ years and it's been great. I recently put a Viofo A119 Mini 2 into another one of my cars and that seems fine as well.

Where do have the dash cams mounted? Up high or down low? Hardwired or using the power socket?

Most mount to the side or underneath the mirror. There's a few posts about stealing power from +12V switched wires either from the overhead light or the humidity sensor if you do some searching...
