Hi all, I have a '96 300tdi and wish to fit some aftermarket security features. Does anybody know which wire from the alarm ECU becomes negative on setting alarm? I need the negative latching trigger to power a couple of units to 1) close the windows and 2) provide exterior survielance when vehicle is alarmed.
For the record I have a '96 300 tdi 104,000 mls, I've fitted full leather seating inc. electric seats with jaguar switches (cheaper than LR) - Becker sat nav + Becker 6 disc cd + tweeters - wind deflectors - side steps - clear indicators (front & repeater) - neat little rear step - 30mm wheel spacers - radar detector (built in) - parking sensors front/rear - side steps.
So far (10 months) I've replaced - radiator - water pump - gasket behind timing cover + belt - idler wheel - exhaust - rear discs + pads + gaskets etc. - rear door lock spring - battery - steering box seals - & had to repair passenger window regulator which broke when I tried to lower it when iced up.
If any body can offer some help with alarm I'd be grateful.
