Disco II Head gasket headache

Hi all,

Up until recently I was trhe proud owner of a 2001 Disco...well I am still the owner but
truth is the pride is all but gone. What I have is a beast that is leaking anti freeze from
where I can only percieve to be the head gasket...it dripping from between eng and bulk-
head and down on to drive shaft. I am old jet eng mechanic and though the years behind a desk have made me a little soft I am still pretty nifty with a wrench...now here is the $2000 question to all the disco experts..should I undertake this endevour in my moderately
equipt garage... or should I take it to the stealership and assume the position.

I would do the work yourself.

Also I would upgrade the head bolts and to a better gasket.
