downhill descent light

i recently installed an amp and sub in my freelander. i had to hook it up to the factory radio and when i was done the downhill descent light stays on.

It might be the brake switch. Did you mess about under the dash on the drivers side? Could be coincidental too.

possibly, i ran the amp wires through the drivers side. I'll have to tear it apart again, maybe i just pulled something apart while pushing the stereo in.
