Driver side window leaking > Window channel replacement method?

Hey everyone, it's been a minute. Wife complained for water leaking into the cabin when getting the truck washed and it appears to be coming from the driver side window. Coincidentally I began noticing a bit more wind noise so most likely related. Confirmed by spraying the door with hose and noticed water dripping down the inside of the window and all over the seat. Door seal is intact.

I've got the new window channel coming and was wondering if anyone has replaced theirs? I figure it involves removing the door card but also the window itself. Only thing I can find is this video about replacing the motor

Nope. It does seem odd but I chalk it up to wear and tear.
