I have had steadily dropping oil pressure from about 45 Lb sq in to 20-30 lb per sq in (depending on rpm) on my 2.5 petrol over the past 2500 miles.
It is NOT the gauage, I checked with a test gauge. How can I tell if it's main bearing wear or oil pump wear?
Is there any way to pull a bearing shell with the engine in place, and measure the wear on the big ends wear with Plastigage?
