Dual Exhaust on 03 SE7??

I had an F-150 truck that had a 4.6 V8 engine. I had the muffler cut off and a (Y) piece put on just after the cat. converter, then two pipes run out the back. It sounded great.

Anyone ever done this to a Discovery? Would it help/hurt performance/function?

I have heard of similar done, but it will not help with the performance at all, shouldn't hurt anything other than off road performance, not many ways of routing dual exhaust without hanging it too low for ground clearance.
