Electric supercharger

My cousin bought a crappy electric supercharger the other day, and I must say it looks like a piece of crap. There is no way these things can work, right?
but I have found the idiots that sell these things www.electricchargers.com

They might work on your lawnmower, but I wouldn't use one.

That looks like several other so called “electric superchargers” I have seen on the web & ebay. They are nothing more than $20 bilge blowers designed to ventilate boat bilges modified to fit in the intake tract of an engine.

They do not move anywhere near the volume of air needed to boost power.

More likely if you use it, the engine vacuum will over-spin the fan and suck the shrapnel into the engine.
