Left sunroof open through the night and it rain for pretty much the entire night, now the car is stuck on park, there is an F instead of D, also says transmission fault and suspension fault...Does anyone know what I should do first and if the water is the cause of the car being stuck? (also the day before I was cleaning the inside of my truck and the battery died, but I was able to get it running after just a few minutes, the truck was out of sorts for while but I was able to drive it for about 130 miles - parked, sunroof open, rain like the world was ending and here I am.

I'd get a shop vac and start extracting as much water as possible from everything, carpets, seats, console, dash. Depending on your technical abilities you can try and open things up to get to the electronics side of things and dry them out as well. If you have access to a good dehumidifier and garage, you could carefully place one in the back and let it run after you extract water (gently close the tailgate on the cord) but you'll need to keep an eye on it to empty it and make sure it doesn't get too hot.

You can also pull door cards and seats out if you're really adept and get it dried out faster. Not sure if you can pull out carpet, but you may be able to pull door gasket and raise carpet up to allow air flow below it to also help dry it faster. A lot depends on your skill level as to how far apart you can comfortably pull the vehicle apart. My wife did this to a XC90 years ago (the day it came home from dealer delivery) and I tore it apart to prevent damage/smells.

As well, the battery will not get a full charge form the alternator alone, a battery charger should be placed on the battery once things have dried out (a dead battery may have actually saved some electronics and prevented a short).
