I have some training to do in Montreal in March....I'll be there for a week. I might take advantage of that situation and throw down another $720. It would be fun to be in more adverse weather...and with my prior experience I can probably skip to the more challenging terrain.

...not sure about February. I hope it's either snowy or mild. I don't like our usual winters of rain rain rain. It's monotonous and depressing !

If you have the opportunity, go for it! My sales guy did the 2-day at Montreal and raved about it. Even better, if you can convince your company to put you up on-site (Fairmont). Not sure how far it is outside Montreal proper, though. btw I remember reading about some adventuresome Rovers making an annual pilgrimage each February from Montreal to James Bay. Niiice.

I doubt I can swing the fairmont lodging, it would depend on proximity to software vendor where I'm training. Thanks for the link.

Hey Houm,

Just to clarify, before our next big snow/icestorm. It says that the HDC is automatically activated in Snow mode if in LOW. Are you seeing that and manually deselecting HDC? Or, as may be the case, is the owner's manual in error?

dawg, I am in fact seeing that and then switching it OFF. ...glad the manual is accurate (this time).
