I am in the midst of installing a remote radar/laser detector system. (Bel RX75 Pro Plus.) I have it about 70% complete. However I cannot get the front bumper/bumper cover off. I have taken out the torx bolts from below and the regular bolts from the top.
Frustratingly, LR appears to use some sort of philips head screw that does not simply unscrew. The screw that is right in front of the tires on both driver and passenger side, that appears to help hold the bumper cover on. . .simply spins and spins when trying to unscrew. There are also three or four of these behind the grill on a flat plastic panel. They just spin but never unscrew.
+ Please advise how to get these "spinning" phillips head screws out
+ Please provide any direction, instruction, pictures on how to remove the front bumper cover.
