help with snow chains and tires

I just moved to Colorado and had first snow last night. I've read my manual for a disco 1 and it says no chains on 235/70r16. My vehicle has 225/75r16 can I use chains on this or do I need the size tires recommended 205 r16?

You should be able to run chains, just don't go speeding too fast with them on.
