Hi, i have a 98' Landrover Disco. LSE Joey you have helped me a lot with my car and i really appreciate it, can i ask for some more help though???

after replacing the head gaskets, alternator, and water pump when starting the car the RPM's go up to 2500 and after letting it run, then shutting the engine off and repeating about 3 to 4 times the RPM's go to normal at about 750.

Being the master that you are I'm sure you can help me with this also!

Thanks in advanced.

What types of plugs are you running?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Also fuel pressure? Last fuel filter change?

Change the fuel filter - next the the frame by the passenger side rear tire (USA Passenger).

Plugs, please tell me they are cheap Champions.

Vacuum leak you can check with a vacuum gauge.
