I have seen them painted to match the body color. I wouldn't ever use one (I'd break it in about 30 mins). But if you really want one that would be an option to help hide it.

Buy a clear one and have a shop back-paint it body color.

Or clear-bra. What's the reason you were looking at one?

the reason why I was even thinking of it was to protect that part of the hood when I do my hwy driving. My LR is silver and after looking at that photo.. I dont think I will be getting it. Giving my rig the "Magnum PI" look aint gonna cut it for me..

I'll research the clear protective covers..

Hood Deflector

I have it and it is now sitting in my garage. Nothing but problems with it. First, one of the clips broke after about a week of use. Land Rover Rocklin (Sacramento) was nice enough to send me replacement clips after a couple of months (initially, they said they could not send me any but recently I tried another parts specialist and he was nice enough to respond). It vibrates so badly at higher speeds I had to take it off the other day. This is despite the dealer's recommendation to buy a Toyota part (bumper kit) to minimize the vibration which I bought and installed. It looks nice on my Buchinham blue LR3 for it covers the faded LAND ROVER logo which makes the car look older than it's supposed to be. Any recommendations to restore the letters would be much appreciated. This deflector looks good on dark colored paints but I agree, not on silver or lighter colors.
