I am looking to trade my sport for an LR4 but have two golden retrievers who need to be able to travel in the truck. When you fold the rear seats in the LR4 you create a nice flat area for the dogs but there are many holes compared to the perfectly flat Sport area. The dogs could easily hurt a leg with a foot falling in one of the holes. Does any one know of a solution ? Thanks!

I use a load space liner in the back. Similar to this.

Thanks very much. However, my problem is when the second row seats are folded flat there are all sorts of gaps. One they suggest I cover with the divider but there is still a big hole. I can a load space cover like you suggested to protect the area where the third row seats fold in as well as the far back, but they actually fold in flat with no gaps.

The cargo cover fits in that space. Once the cargo cover is stowed in there, there is really not much gap,
