What do expect from a non-wheelin, Escalade driving, **** of a writer like this.

Came across this old one.

Is this guy still around writing reviews about things he has no clue about? Unbelievable.

Its ******* car critics like him that sometimes causes the manufacturer to make some ridiculous choices and decisions, thinking that thats what the customer actually wants. Ridic.

LR3' center stack/dashboard was excellent design, specially for the CDP, it still is to this day.

It allowed for the redundancy in operations which was really great. You could turn on the AC system by either turning the temp knob, hitting the OFF button, hitting the AC button itself, hitting the Auto button, etc. And the climate control system would turn on with the last used settings. It was genius and extremely functional.

All major/minor functions were readily available at your fingertips without having to dig thru menus, specially when you are driving and wanna go straight to the control/switch of the function you'd like to perform or activate/deactivate

Glad I still have some knobs, buttons, and switches in my LR4.

Not a fan of everything being controlled by only one interface, ie: the LCD screen, cuz if that screen goes, goes along with it all the critical cabin functions. And we are talking about LR products here after all.
