Just wanted to thank everyone for their help and opinions on the site.
While my thought The 04 Disco was a great looking and capable truck. I found the quirks just a little more than I could take
... Whats up with the front seats? you can move them forward enough to impale your self with the steering wheel, but cant adjust back far enough to get comfortable.
... Cant adjust the seat with the armrest down... pure genius
Whiney pumps... ABS TC HDC faults... And I still cant find the damm door lock button in a hurry
So it's off to My VW dealer for a V8 Touareg... A better daily driver and gives me the sportier feel I want with the all the off road ability I'll ever need.

Thanks again...

Well, sorry to see you end so sadly. Most Land Rovers are without the quirks of yours, every single one is different, they are what I can only term as the most inconsistant build quality I have ever seen in any one make or model. If you are lucky, you get one without issues, you were not lucky with yours. Good luck with the Touareg, I could never own a VW but thats just stupid personal opinion, hope you can crawl over hills with it still!

B2,
You should spend some time on a touareg forum. Those things are full of as many if not more bugs than any land rover. Electrical issues, tire issues, HUGE depreciation issues...
Well...maybe not more bugs than ANY land rover, but most of 'em.
Sorry you didn't enjoy your D II. Good luck.
Lovin' the quirks!
