Just got my windows tinted...

The front ones. Looks great but wish it was a little bit darker to match the rear factory tint. But the law in Texas is 35%. It does block out 99% of UV rays so that should help keep the interior a bit cooler.

I also had a tinted band put on the windscreen as the Disco/LR3 has nothing.

Never did I imagine that the little band does make a difference!!!

Plus my Valentine1 is now invisible from the outside. Good 'cause its pretty much mounted for good.

Texas911: where in Texas are you? I"m in Houston. Stupid places around me want to charge $135(llumar) to do the tint job. Crazy!!! What brand of tint is yours?

I'm in Houston. I got it done at Xpert Tint on 59 South and the Beltway. It was Llumar with a lifetime warranty. They cheaper but it was pretty cheap already. I think the dealer wnated $250 or something like that. I'm also doing my clear bra by them. Will keep you posted.
