I think the "puddle lights" are part of the lighting package option on the SE.

FWIW, I figured out that the key comes out cleanly only if your foot is off the brake. Silly...but that's the way it goes.

I think you are correct. My SE has puddle lights. I have the lighting package.

Never had a problem with removing the key though???

The waterfall light is a nice touch.

Back to the key problem. I have the same issue--sometimes. Sometimes I have to give it a quick turn back to the right and then to the left to get it to the full off position to release the key.

Does this not work for anybody else?

nope not fo me. i think if i just turn it and be firm, then pull it right out it is ok. but i have tried it with my foot on the brake and off, doesn't make any difference. if i am just heavy handed with it, turn it tight to the stop and pull, it seems to come out ok.

the same for me, your foot has to be off the break so you don't have to turn it forward any...
