Land Rover Newbie...

Hi all, I recently purchased a 1998 Range Rover HSE with under 100K miles. I was pretty excited and looking forward to "fixing"it up. I have a few problems and am looking to the community for help. The thin hose in the front that goes to the top of the radiator needs to be replaced... is this possible? Also, the front wheel is making a clunking sound when rolling.. it almost feels like it going to fall off. Someone mentioned a control arm... does that sound familiar to anyone? One final thing, There was a ticking in the engine and after I got an oil change it went away for a few weeks. Well, it's back, any ideas or words of advice?

Things I've repaired so far:
New airbags all around
New compressor
New exhaust, center & rear

Things to come if I can figure out the engine issue and it isn't too bad:
New brakes all around
Sagging headliner

If you talking the plastic hose, then yes you can replace it... http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/PCH117140G.cfm

Clunking sound could be a lot of things... a bad bearing, CV joint just to name 2. Have it checked, since we can't see or hear it.

Ticking engine, depends on where the ticking is coming from... top of engine, bottom... could be oil pick up tube clogged, or a bad lifter.

I am also in the Cincinnati area and would like to know if you can recommend a good place (other than the "stealer" to have it checked out and hopefully repaired). Many of the places I've contacted refer me to the dealer once I say Range Rover. Do you work on other people's Rovers?
