looking to buy a 03 or 04 diso

I'm looking to buy an 03 or 04 disco is there anything I should be leary of, or look for, or stay away from. I've heard of some horor stories about low oil pressure problems????

low oil pressure is and 03 problem, get the 04. I have one with 72K and the return of the diff lok is appreciated.

03 and 04's are as different as night and day when it comes to off road abilities because of the CDK feature built back into the 04. Yes some 03 had oil pump/engine failures.
What are you planning on using one for?

I'm looking for an everyday driver. No off roading somthing that's good in the snow. I don't want to buy somthing that's i'm gonna have to put a ton of money in it

Toyata 4runner or somesuch would be better. Landrovers are expensive and excell when the mud is at least 12 inches deep or the water is 48 inches deep. Go on YouTube an look at the videos of "Land Rover destruction" which are hyperbole of course but nothing else on the planet can do that stuff.
