I have a 98 disco... I'm driving back home from church and i come to a stop sign and when I take off, I loose power... Only about 2k told on tachometer. Feels like maybe a spark plug wire fell off... Don't know... I keep driving at that rpms and then the transmission kinda males a sound and then the tachometer starts to gradually build up and go bacl to normal running position.. I make it home and sit with it in neautral and rev it up some, and tachometer will not rev past 3 k rpms st all... Need help and ideas.
