LR3 Air Suspension Problem! Help!

yeah I left her at the dealership this morning, spoke with the head mechanic and he told me that most probably it was an airline, and if the valve then they change the whole valve. They'll let me know.

On a side note I cannot believe how ignorant the service people are, the guy who received the vehicle literally had NO idea of the existence of the valve...

After 2 days at the dealership they charged nothing for calibrating the suspension, according to the head mechanic that was the problem, only that it wasn't I will have to take it to them yet again.
Quite angry tbh bc they clearly told me that it wasn't lowering anymore... RUBBISH they did nothing it still lowers all the way down overnight

Have you done the test yet where you put the LR3 into off-road mode, then turn it off and pull fuse 26 (I think that's the one...) to disable the EAS system. Let the car sit overnight and then see where it's drooping in the morning? This critical because everything else could be attributed to auto leveling or a bad sensor. If you disable all that crap by pulling the fuse, it will show you if you truly have any air leaks. It will also help you to narrow the area to look since you know that none of the valves are supposed to be opening.

yes I did it and both rear lowered with the right rear going down all the way.
I was very specific and told this to the head mechanic, he said "it may be one of the hoses that connects the valve with the struts"
next day I called and the service guy told me that the LR3 was ready that it was only the height calibration. I am mad because they lied when I asked if it lowered overnight, it clearly did, the fcukers just were too lazy to check it properly.

I mean I practically did half of the work for them, can they not make things the right way!?!
I'll definitely complain directly at LR's Headquarters next time I go to England hahaha

Sounds like you've narrowed it down to something mechanical, so at least half your job is done! If you're sure the bags aren't leaking (I believe you said you tested them), then I would definitely concentrate on that rear valve block next. If that doesn't solve your problem, then I would consider replacing or at least examining the air lines to the rear shocks. If you're not a DIY type of person, and you really think your LR dealer is incompetent, then you might have to demand that they replace certain components instead of just troubleshooting the problem. Of course, it may be that replacing the valve block doesn't fix it... in which case you'll not be a happy camper and they'll be upset that you told them to do something and it didn't work. You should check out the disco3 website though. I believe there are plenty of posts about people removing and thoroughly cleaning (not even replacing) their valve block o-rings and it solved the leaking problem.

I am a DIY person but it is a bit cold and I don't want to spend the weekend doing the job of those lazy mechanics hahaha thanks anyhow I'll read those over at disco3co uk

took it in this monday morning and the dealership still has no clue of what it is! hahaha head mechanic has been checking it all day and still isn't sure, they can't find any leaks and everything looks normal according to them! (other than the fact that every morning goes loow)

any ideas?!?!? it only lowers on the rear with the rear right going down faster and lower

I really only think you have two options if the rear bags and lines aren't leaking. You have to either be leaking from the rear valve block, or you have to be leaking from the rear suspension supply line on the reservoir valve block. With the EAS system shut off (fuse out), I believe that part of the system should be isolated - from the reservoir supply block all the way on back. As to which one... well, that's the question. If the valve blocks are leaking externally, then the soapy water trick should show you something. If they're leaking internally, then really it's just guessing game I would think. Do you have an IID tool or something similar? Can you look at the reservoir pressure before you start the car, but after it has sat for a while?

No I haven't got one and the LR3 is still at the dealership I'll talk with them before the close today.
Compressor kicks in after 20 minutes of sitting still but works for only a few seconds so I am guessing the pressure decreases, but I don't know if it is because it tops up the rear first.
